We went to the Providence Children's Museum in RI on a very rainy Sunday Oct. 18th. It was our first time there. All three of us really enjoyed it. We went we our neighbors Dawn, Tod and Lilly. Lilly is three weeks older then Ryan. After our adventures at the museum, we went to the Providence Place Mall and Ryan and Lilly ran around. We had lunch at Dave and Buster's. We didn't play any games that day because Ryan was tired. But Ryan did have a huge plate of french fries (he didn't finish). He didn't want anything else on the menu. Toddlers some days they eat and others just french fries.
They had fish tanks with little Catfish in it. Ryan likes Catfish and recognized them right away.

Pumpkin Picking
We went pumpkin picking on Sunday Oct. 11th. To Ward's Berry Farm in Sharon, MA. It was a busy day. We started the day off playing some guitar with Dad. Then we had to do some work in the yard before we went pumpkin picking. Finally, we got to the farm, the first thing Ryan wanted to see was the 4H animals. That was his favorite part of the day. We got to feed goats and sheep. And we saw cows, ducks and rabbits. They have a playground there too. Ryan had to try the High up slide. He wasn't scared ( I was). He walked right up those stairs and slide right down. Then did it again. He got to play in the hay piles, touch some corn, then go on a hay ride to get to the pumpkins. When we got to the pumpkins, Ryan kept saying the pumpkins were "too big". Jeff pulled out a little green pumpkin, Ryan's size. Ryan said that is the one he wanted. He did help us find a big orange pumpkin for the family to crave (which we haven't done yet). When we got home, after a nap (which was very much needed) Ryan painted his green pumpkin blue and purple (which are his two favorite colors). The next morning I drew a jack -o-lantern face on it.

My Little Drummer Boy
My wonderful sister and soon to be brother-in-law got Ryan a drum for his birthday. Thanks, Kel(just kidding). Ryan loves it! I swear he was playing a beat, but as soon as I turned the camera on he stopped.

Halloween is almost here
Ryan seems to really like the Halloween decorations everywhere. Except, when went apple picking. They had a store there with a room full of scary decorations. They scared him and he is still talking about it. He says "the scary, sad decorations where in the other room". But, all the other decorations we have in the house and we see in the stores are "happy decorations". Here he is helping me set up the Scooby Doo Pumpkin decoration.

Big Boy Bed
A couple weekends ago (sorry so late on the update). We set Ryan up in his Big Boy Bed. His crib, conversed into a day bed. At first we I told Ryan about a Big Boy Bed, he didn't want to have one. But when I said we are just changing your crib into a Big Boy Bed, he got all excited. Ryan had to test it out as soon as Jeff told the crib front off. Then he had to help drill in the screws with his 'Handy Manny' drill he got for his birthday. He really enjoyed sleeping in it. Two nights into the new bed, he did fall out. All I heard was a thump on the floor, he whined a little and fell back to sleep as I was putting him back into bed. Today, he was playing in his room and felt like taking a nap, laid down and fell asleep. I think I like the Big Boy Bed too, haha.

Apple Picking
We went apple picking with my parents on Friday. Ryan got to pick his own apples and if you ask him. '"how many apples did you pick?" He will say one. Because when I ask him how many you are going to pick before we went he said one. He picked three. After picking three he had to test them out. The first apple he started eating fell on the ground. He says "don't eat the apples on the ground, dirty". So, he started eating another since the first tasted so good. He says it tasted "delicious".
