Christmas Parties

We had three Christmas parties we went to this past weekend. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Starting with the Mommy and Me Christmas Party on Friday. We went after Ryan got out of school on Friday. He was sharing his reindeer antlers with his friend Caleb for a little bit but then changed his mind and took them back. Caleb and Ryan play nice sometimes. In the picture they were playing nice but then after a little while Ryan was playing dinosaurs and roared at Caleb. Caleb pushed Ryan that is when Ryan cried because he was tired. But was okay after having a cookie or two.

Saturday, we went to a friends Christmas party. We brought cupcakes and Ryan had to have a green frosting one. It took two days to get the frosting off his face and hands. He was having a good time but then got tired (nap time is around 1pm)and didn't want to eat anything. So, he was tired and hungry then hurt his thumb (cut it). Then there came the crying. I guess he is just getting over a cold, he still has a little cough. We went home. He feel asleep on the way home.

Sunday was much better. Ryan was very well behaved. We went to a The Miquel Families Christmas Party. My mother's side of the family. It was at my cousin Melanie's house. Everyone had a good time. There was a dog and a cat there but they were too shy to play with the kids. Ryan ate chicken nuggets, tator tots, a lot of cookies, cupcakes and I think a candy cane. The best of all he got a gift. We do a Secret Santa gift swap. He was very excited about the gift, it was a car carries with hot wheels cars (the fast ones, as he likes to say). We left after the gifts because Ryan had school the next day (last day before his first school vacation). He fell asleep on the way home because he hadn't had a nap again. But woke up when we got home so we could open and play with his car carrier and hot wheels cars. We all had a good time, even Jeff.

Edaville USA

Edaville USA has a festival of lights and a train ride every year. Ryan was a little crabby when we got there because he didn't nap all day. Then we had some french fries and the lady that worked at the restaurant gave him a candy cane and he was all better. It was Ryan first time on a real train. He said it was like the Dinosaur Train but without the dinosaurs. They have train rides, merry-go-round rides, games and many many lights. Ryan played a Lucky Duck game and won a alligator. It was cold that night but we enjoyed ourselves. This is some of the lights.

Mason Christmas Party

On Sunday, we went to the Mason Christmas Party at my fathers lodge. We had hot dogs, Ryan got to run around with his cousin Chase (Chase is two weeks older then Ryan) and see Santa. He asked Santa for a toy hamster that runs around. They are called Zhu Zhu Pets. We did buy him one. We went to a friends Christmas party the night before and he was playing with one there, now he wants one.

He did get a gift from Santa here. A guitar and Chase got one too. Ryan and mama. Eating some chips. He just woke up from a nap in the car.

Gingerbread House

We made our first Gingerbread House. Ryan wore his home made antlers. We ate most of it while we made it. It was tasty.

Christmas Parade

Saturday we went to a Christmas Parade in Brockton (where I work). Ryan got to see my father, teacher friends from my school and of course Santa. They through candy canes out to the crowd and he liked that. He also got a Spiderman balloon.

Ryan's First Day of Preschool

Ryan had his first day of preschool today. He was very excited! He couldn't wait to go, when he was eating breakfast, he said "can I go now to school?". He is going to a school about 15 minutes from the house, call Active Learners. He goes two days a week, half days, Mondays and Fridays, in the morning.

Ryan and Scrappy got dressed up for Thanksgiving. Ryan had shoes, pants and a shirt on like Dad's. He loves to copy Jeff. Scrappy was a Pilgrim Dog.

Name

Here is Ryan picture from Mommy and Me. He wrote his name all by himself. We found a preschool for him, he starts next week. Happy Thanksgiving!

Halloween

On Halloween night we had fun. Ryan was very excited. But he said his favorite part of Halloween was giving out the candy to the kids. He was putting it through the fence. Ryan all ready to go out trick or treating.
Scrappy is ready too. He is a skunk.

Dad stayed at home and watched us go up the street to the different houses.

He had to have on his glow bracelets. Two on each arm.

He got more then enough candy.

It was cold out but Ryan wasn't cold because he costume was fleece.

When there wasn't any trick or treaters. Ryan was running around the house in yard.

Ryan would take breaks from running around, he would sit on the porch and eat candy. Only a couple of pieces. He had to sit on the porch to keep it away from Scrappy who eat a lollipop whole, wrapper and all early.

We still have candy left and we have a good time.

After circle time we do a craft and then we have to leave because I have to go to work. We stay for an hour, it is better then nothing.

Halloween At The Zoo

Before Halloween we went to a Spooky Zoo. The Roger Williams Zoo in Providence RI let the kids dress up, go trick or treating and see the animals at the zoo. We even saw a cow eating a pumpkin. Heading into the zoo. Ryan the Nice Shark, like in Finding Nemo and Shark Tales.

We went in the morning, it was a good thing because when I took this picture it started to rain.
